On Monday 22 October BAFTA announced the nominations for its 2018 Children’s Awards, and we’re thrilled to see several of our members nominated for directing.
Directors UK member Mic Graves is nominated in the Directing category for The Amazing World of Gumball, and former Chair Beryl Richards is nominated for Joe All Alone. Meanwhile, member Grant Orchard received a nomination for Hey Duggee. All three of these programmes were nominated for a fantastic three awards each. Adam Tyler completes the Director category with What Do You Mean I Can’t Change the World?
Work from our members is also represented across several other categories, including in Drama, Comedy, Feature Film, International Pre-School, Pre-School Animation, Pre-School Live Action and Short Form. You can read a full list on the BAFTA website.
The British Academy Children’s Awards winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Roundhouse, London on Sunday 25 November. Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees.
