Matus Krajnak
Biography
Originally from Slovakia, Matus Krajnak is a London based director for films and TV, graduated from the German Film & TV Academy Berlin DFFB, one of the top 15 international film schools. He also trained at the Columbia University School of Arts in New York. He is a DIRECTORS UK member and a BERLINALE Talent.
His interest lies across both scripted TV and film in queer subjects in genres comedy and comedy-drama.
He is currently developing an original comedy-drama series OTHER WHITE, supported by MIDPOINT Series Launch, while elevating his award winning comedy web series SEXFLUENCING into a TV series.
Previously, his spec ad SEX COMMERCIAL was shortlisted for YOUNG DIRECTOR AWARD in CANNES, his short drama MONOLOGUES premiered at the WARSAW FILM FESTIVAL, his feature script GUN FUN was second-rounded for the SUNDANCE SCREENWRITERS LAB and placed among the top 15% of entrants to the ACADEMY NICHOLL FELLOWSHIPS competition.
