The best and brightest in upcoming British film talent were honoured at the inaugural National Film Festival Awards last Friday (8th November), which took place at London's Leicester Square Vue Cinema.
The National Film Festival took place for the first time this year to celebrate the burgeoning creativity of 5-19 year-olds all across the UK, and inspire a love of cinema amongst the next generation of audiences. You can find out which young filmmakers were honoured in each of the six categories - along with each of their award-winning entries - in our "Storified" tweets below.
You'll also find a video of the charming and thought-provoking short film Vin Diesel's Socks, a trailer from industry body ScreenThing that also screened at the festival.
