On Saturday 23rd June Edinburgh International Film Festival is hosting an afternoon of 1-2-1 advice sessions for writers, directors and producers from across the UK to meet with industry professionals, and they need Directors UK members' help.
The festival wants directors to offer these emerging filmmakers their input, expertise, support and influence. Last year, Directors UK members Gillies MacKinnon and Paul McGuigan took part in this event, giving their advice and guidance to these up-and-coming individuals.
As a guest of the EIFF Talent Lab, the festival will cover return travel to and from Edinburgh and accommodation whilst they're in town. Meetings are scheduled in advance and would last about 20 mins each. Ideally each industry guest would take around 5 or 6 meetings.
