•  Member Owen Tooth recently become the first wheelchair user to direct an episode of EastEnders since its inception in 1985. (BBC) Owen participated in Directors UK Inspire with his mentor, director Max Myers, and in our Directing Actors workshop. We recently caught up with him to discuss his experience on Inspire, and how it prepared him for directing his first episode of EastEnders. Read our conversation here.

•  Channel 4 has recruited Louise Donald as its new Commissioning Executive for Hollyoaks. (Prolific North) Donald has more than 15 years of script development experience on shows including EastEnders, Holby City, Death in Paradise (series one) and Good Karma Hospital (series 4).
