BAFTA Scotland 2017 nominees announced

The nominees for the British Academy Scotland Awards have been announced, with several Directors UK Members featuring among the nominees in both the factual and fiction directing categories.

In Director - Fiction, all three directing nominees are members: Tom Vaughan is nominated for Victoria, Danny Boyle is nominated for T2: Trainspotting (also nominated for Feature Film), and Hope Dickson Leach is nominated for The Levelling. Hope is also nominated in the Writer Film/Television category for the same film.

Meanwhile, in Directing - Factual, member John MacLaverty is nominated for Glasgow 1967: The Lisbon Lions. Joining him are directors Louise Lockwood and Darren Hercher for Fair Isle: Living on the Edge and Sighthill respectively.

Work from our directors is also represented across several categories, including in Current Affairs, Features and Factual, Feature Film, Short Film, Specialist Factual, Entertainment and Television Scripted. You can read a full list of nominees here.
