Biography

Brynach is a Welsh Writer/Director and BAFTA Brit to Watch. Role Play, a film he wrote and directed while doing his MFA in directing at UCLA, was selected by Slamdance, The Munich Student Film Festival, and The London Short Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Student Short and Best British Short. Since graduating, he's programmed with Slamdance, taught at UCLA, and directed both music and corporate videos for clients such as Universal, G4S, and UCLA. His feature screenplay, Low Tide, received development funding from BFI's Horizons Net.Work Scheme, and as a result, he was mentored by Duane Hopkins (Better Things, Bypass). In the same year, Low Tide was also selected as a Top Ten Finalist by the American Zoetrope Screenplay Contest.

Wrote and directed the short film. The short was awarded funds from the Mary Pickford Award & Wasserman Film Fellowship. It played at over a dozen festivals including BAFTA and Oscar qualifying festivals such as Slamdance, The London Short Film Festival, The Newport Beach Film Festival, and The Munich Student Film Festival. 2015
