Biography
I’m Moritz Valero, a filmmaker from Germany, living in London. I am interested in creating stories and crafting performances that move the audience and carry a message. I am looking to create TV and HETV scripted drama as well as feature films.
In 2018, I was selected for the NFTS’s Director’s Series and graduated from my MA in Directing at MetFilm School in late 2021.
As a person with disabilities, I am passionate about improving disability representation in the industry. I have been a speaker and panelist at multiple NHS events, The Autism Show and created a masterclass called “Disabled Filmmakers in Film and Television” during my time at university.
Since graduating, I have been supported by Film London, Creativity Squared - Equal Access Network as well as The Media Trust & ScreenSkills where I am mentored by Sara Johnson (founder of Bridge06).
