Biography
Originally from the East Midlands, Ross has been making films from an early age.
Before the formation of Deadline FIlms, Ross worked for ShowBiz TV where he directed original shows for the channel (Talent Spot & Country Sessions).
In 2017 Ross formed the production company Deadline Films UK with Craig McDonald-Kelly & David Hepburn. Together they made Hangover Food (2017, 14 festivals, 4 wins), Shadow Boxer (2019, 5 festivals, 1 win) & BYTE (2020, 14 festivals, 2 wins).
In 2023, they premiered their latest series Hangover Food: Vampire Influencer to rave reviews. It is currently on the festival circuit, and already has 3 selections and has won an award.
In addition to this, Ross works as an assistant director in high end feature films, televisions and commercials.
Ross is an associate member of Directors UK and as of June 2023, is being mentored by the bafta winning Chris Cottam on their Inspire programme.
