Jamie Benyon

As a writer, my screenplays have achieved Top 10% on the Coverfly comedy short film list, been shortlisted for BBC Comedy Writers Programme, and a semi-finalist in the Shore Short Script Competition, a quarter-finalist in the Screencraft Fellowship and Top 40 at the UK Film Festival. As a director, my debut feature film 'The Grandisons', had its European Premiere at the British and Irish Film Festival in Luxembourg and was an official selection at the London Lift-Off Film Festival. I've directed countless short films, music videos, and commercial products. My most recent achievement was winning the Audience Award as well as this year's IMDB Script to Screen Award. My comedy short script, 'Two Minutes' received a £7K cash prize plus £1K of equipment hire. This project is funded and supported by FilmBath and IMDB. In addition to that, I am currently enrolled on the Directors UK Inspire Mentorship Scheme with BAFTA-winning director, Tom George (This Country and See How They Run) as my mentor.
