Biography
Garry David Frost is a BAFTA Crew Director, VFX Production Manager, Acting and Filmmaking teacher and NFTS graduate. Garry has always had a passion for filmmaking and after commencing his BA at the University of Sunderland began developing the award-winning film series ' University Survivor'. Following this he looked to build on his knowledge as a writer/director, taking a more active interest in the production and began studying a PGDip in Production Management at NFTS where his fascination in VFX quickly developed.
Following this, Garry joined Small Films as a Production Coordinator where he worked with BBC Director George Hughes and quickly began writing, with credits including the comedy parody 'Netstar: Planet Earth'. Eager to further explore VFX, Garry joined Passion Pictures where he had the opportunity to work with some of the UK's leading commercial directors from concept to final grade, learning from them first-hand.
Following this Garry joined Legendary Pictures VFX team for 'Enola Holmes' as VFX Coordinator followed by Ridley Scott's 'The Last Duel'. Through this time Garry has continued to write and direct University Survivor along with other comedy series and commercials.
