Mitch Jenkins
Biography
Mitch Jenkinsis an international award-winning entertainment photographer and film director.Act of Faith (2012), his first short film, was born from a collaboration between Mitch and long-time friend and creative partner, graphic novelist, Alan Moore. Following on was a series of five shorts – released collectively as Show Piecesin 2014.Mitch’s first feature film, The Show, scripted by Moore and stared Tom Burke in the lead role. The Show premiered at SXSW Film Festival in 2020, during lockdown and was picked up for distribution in both the UK (Altitude) and US (Shout Factory).
The Show is currently being developed by the pair as a network TV series.Mitch’s second feature film, Prisoners of Paradise (starring Ellie Bamber and Rupert Penry Jones), is currently in post-production and due for release 2022. Mitch has just finished principal photography for his third feature A Million Days, distribution has already been secured for a cinematic release later in 2022. Mitch also has several other projects in development including a cold war thriller and music documentary feature.
