Biography

Joe is a writer/director of highly regarded commercial, short film and documentary formats. His debut feature-film is BIFA-nominated psychological thriller ‘KINDRED’, starring Tamara Lawrance (THE LONG SONG), Jack Lowden (DUNKIRK, FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY) and Fiona Shaw (KILLING EVE, HARRY POTTER). 
His short films have played at Cannes, San Francisco, Raindance, the New Directors festival in New York and the Edinburgh Film festival. His last three documentary projects have all been selected for Vimeo Staff Picks. Commercial work includes projects for Amazon, Paul Smith, Microsoft, John Lewis, Paul McCartney and Nike. 
RED LIGHT, his short film - starring Jessie Buckley (CHERNOBYL, WILD ROSE, BEAST) and Martin McCann (CALIBRE, THE SURVIVALIST, 71’) - won numerous accolades at film festivals, and was another Vimeo Staff Pick.
