Guardian Commission: Simon Woolley of Operation Black Vote in conversation with Bellavia Ribeiro-Addy, Roy Edwards and Jordon Clarke, in Brixton, London, UK.
We decided to engage the public of Brixton before 2010 UK General Election.
This followed OBV's successful "Black Britain Decides" rally hosted by Kwame Kwei Armah, in Westminster, where three major UK political party deputies stood up, spoke and competed for the attention (and votes) of an audience of people from predominately African and Caribbean background.

Sundance Institute Commission, Reel Lives:
Invisible Woman 2.0 is about Lucy, a young woman of African descent who confronts her worst nightmare and tries to leave it behind as she vomits into the gutter at the side of the get-a-away van she figures out how to drive. However she doesn’t get very far, she is forced to stop at the crossroads with a bunch of other women from all parts of the world when she finds herself homeless and needing to survive, she turns a corner. Invisible Woman 2.0 is an elegant story about female migrant workers as they travel from far-flung places in Africa, Asia, Eastern+Central Europe, the Caribbean & South America risking everything to get to Europe, USA and Canada. The hyper surreal series follows women on the run to freedom.
