Biography
The Scheinmann Brothers have together worked on on 3 feature films The West Wittering Affair 2006, Believe 2013, After Louise 2019 and a short The Divorce 2014 collaborating and sharing the roles of directors and writers. These films have gained festival laurels and audience best film and best ensemble awards including Zurich, Tel-Aviv, Santa Barbara, Seattle, Jackson Hole, Bermuda and Cinequest. The Brothers joined forces to write and direct feature films together following individual and very successful highly accoladed careers in related fields. David as a Photographer and Commercials Director and Danny as Actor and Novelist. Working together their roles are interchangeable on script writing and editing. On set David brings all his know how as a visual artist to deliver a striking looking film while Danny works closely with actors and story employing all his narrative experience as a screen writer and novelist matched to his training and experience as an actor. Together they have it covered and it increases the efficiency of their directing. Actors they have worked with include Brian Cox, Natacsha McEllhone Toby Stevens, Anne Reid and Greg Wise.
