Biography

I am a confident and personable Producer/Director with 10 years broadcast shooting experience; technically, editorially and visually, I am a highly skilled self-shooter, particularly with the FS7. I can turn my hand to run-and-gun actuality; Channel 4's 'Hunted', produced scenes; BBC One's 'The Farmers' Country Showdown' cinematic visuals; Yesterday's 'World's Greatest Palaces', and well-lit interviews; Channel 5's 'Funniest Pets at Christmas'. Having worked on multiple obs docs, factual entertainment and features, I have extensive experience in identifying and reacting to fast developing narratives, producing pre-planned ideas and building strong bonds with contributors. I have self-shot long and short form for all major broadcasters, including; BBC, C4, ITV, C5, Discovery, Food Network, UKTV and Sky. Please follow the link below to view my Showreel:

As well as being proficient with a wide range of cameras and prime lens kits, I am also very competent with editing software. I have worked both as an editor and edit producer, experience which I believe is vital to reflect on when on location. It enables me to shoot for the edit, helping create a comprehensive and well-covered narrative.

I am a strong leader who can work independently on single camera shoots as well as multi-camera directing with ‘first time TV’ contributors, experts, children, animals, new talent and seasoned presenters. I have worked with some top names including; Michelle Visage, Shane Richie, Jeremy Wade, Nina Wadia, Jo Brand, Jean Johansson, Chris Packham and Susan Calman.

My experience extends globally to North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. I know what it takes to ensure a seamless shoot abroad, even in unstable areas.
