Barbara Toschi is a Brazilian director and producer based in London. As a producer, she is responsible for the short film "Mea Culpa", winner of seven awards at festivals all over the world, and the feature film "Daemon Mind", starring Acha Septriasa, Jasmine Blackborrow, Sam Marks, and Zephryn Taitte, with distribution confirmed in Indonesia and the US for 2024. Her accomplishments as a director are "Dear Friends and Family", winner of Best International Short Film at the Olympus Film Festival, Best Original Score at the Feel the Reel Film Festival, nominated for Best Directing at the BAFTA Qualifying Underwire Film Festival in London, and "Call Me Lina", semi-finalist at the Oscar qualifying Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival. She recently directed her debut feature, the sci-fi thriller "Dimension Slip", which premiered at the Oscars and BAFTA Qualifying Flickers’ Rhode Island and won the Directorial Discovery Award. The film is being released in 2024 by Motion Picture Exchange.
