Biography

Award-winning Writer/Director of 2017’s BFI supported Film London short film ‘Blackout’ which debuted at BFI’s Southbank and won ‘Best Short Film’ at Birmingham Film Festival and Southampton Film Festival. 
Her first short film 2016’s ‘Lady in the Park’ screened in the UK as well as Internationally and won two awards with a further eight nominations.

Serena trained as an Actress at Court Theatre Training Company and Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.  Serena’s focus is making films which highlight underrepresented members of society.
