Biography

Lynne Davison Directed Northern Ireland Screen's New Talent Focus Feature 2020  'Mandrake'.  She is a highly experienced professional with an extensive background working as crew, including time spent on HBO's Game of Thrones and BBC Productions.  A known name as a writer-director in recent years with the success of her short film 'The Climb', Directing' Wings' as part of BBC3's The Break and her participation on the WFTV Mentorship programme 2019 in which she has developed a lasting relationship with her mentor Sarah Gavron, Director Suffragette 2015. Her short films have been shown worldwide, including time spent as inflight entertainment for Are Lingus, and screened as part of the Cork Film Festival, Belfast Film Festival, Best of FEEDback Female Film Festival and the 26th BFI London Lesbian and Gay Film festival. Lynne is a determined, focused and talented creative who brings a fresh perspective to her films. Her determination is evident in her completion of the Directors Shadowing, Access Shorts and New Writers Focus feature development programmes with Northern Ireland Screen. She is also a current member of Cinesisters London and BAFTA Crew 2017 - 2020.
