Biography

Strong self-shooting female documentary director with over a decade of industry experience, and 5 X 60’ hours taken through the edit - BBC2's 'A Very British Airline'; W Channel's award-winning and re-commissioned 'Emma Willis: Delivering Babies'; Channel 5's 'Britain's Cocaine Epidemic'; Channel 5's 'Student Sex Workers'; and Really Channel's 'Swipe Right for Murder'. My first experience in the edit was as an AP (BBC2’s 'A Very British Airline' - episode three; and Channel 4’s 'One Born Every Minute' - the midwife actuality clips edit) which informed my shooting as I stepped up to Shooting Producer and then Shooting Producer / Director. Most of my experience is on access and observational documentaries and generally projects of a sensitive nature. And while I am a confident and creative self-shooter, with experience of filming actuality both single camera and cross-shot, and on prime lenses, my greatest strength is in building relationships with contributors and maintaining trust and access in difficult situations.
