Daniel Moses

Award winning London based Film + Commercials Director and Photographer with a versatile storytelling style

As a live action or self-shooting director, with brands, artists, production companies or agencies, I work quickly in challenging environments employing strategy, story and style across diverse projects like commercial, brand, music, comedy, corporate and animation. My creative expertise has led me to create work with Centre Parcs, Sudocrem, Barbican, Hamptons, The Royal Horticultural Society, Hyundai, Sainsbury’s, MTV, Scope, BT and EY; with playful takes on technology, arts, culture, history, parody set pieces, finding the light in between the darkness and finding any excuse to reference Bruce Springsteen.

I wrote and directed short film PANDEMIC SPY, nominated for best comedy film at the BAFTA qualifying Carmarthen Bay Film Festival, winner of 7 best comedy film awards including Paris Short Film Festival, North London Comedy Shorts, Alternative FF Toronto and Berlin Flash FF;  and official selection at 21 film festivals including London Lift Off, Making Waves, Manhattan Film Festival  and Romford Film Festival. Other works include "Elephant in the Womb" and "Picturebook Romance". My music videos for Cornershop, Maroon Town and Punkture Sluts have been screened at London Short Film Festival, Aesthetica FF and Detmold IFF.

I completed a course in Virtual Production 101 from the Mars Academy, giving me a basic grounding in VP working with immersive LED screens on digital sets; and am interested in exploring narrative drama/comedy projects in commercial, tv and film with a series of shorts in development.
