Sean’s debut feature film PANIC a London set thriller starring David Gyasi (Interstellar, Cloud Atlas, Annihilation) was theatrically released in 2016, garnering critical acclaim and 4 star reviews from The Guardian, The Daily Mirror, The British Blacklist and a host of other publications. PANIC has also been nominated for numerous festival and industry awards.

His short films have been broadcast and distributed by a number of organizations, including the BBC, Sky, ITV, The British Council and the BFI. They have also been selected for film festivals worldwide, including Edinburgh Film Festival, Dinard Film Festival, Raindance Film Festival, Clermont Ferrand, Manchester Kino, Berlin Britspotting and Soho Rushes. His short STRIPES was also selected for Sight & Sound magazine’s best UK shorts issue.

Sean has been selected for a number of high profile talent development programmes. He was one of a handful of British directors selected for the Moonstone Filmmakers Lab, founded by playwright John McGrath and headed by veteran French film producer Jean-Luc Ormieres and the film industry’s flagship mentoring scheme Guiding Lights, mentored by Roger Michell.
