His breakthrough short film 'SICK' (2007) was endorsed by mental health charity Samaritans, assisted by Film London, The London Borough of Wandsworth, the UK Film Council through Screen South, and financed by an NHS Charitable Fund. Winner of 20 awards from 65 festival selections across 25 countries in 2008/9, it was represented by The British High Commission when receiving Malta's Golden Knight. Featured on the Film 4 Forgotten Classics Collection, and released to education through the BFI Shop, it was the subject of mental health events from Bosnia to Nova Scotia, including at The National Film Archive of India, Entertainment Society of Goa, and London's Freud Museum. World sales are by Dazzle Films.
