Biography

Kat is a Screen International Star of Tomorrow 2017, a John Brabourne Awardee and a member of female directors’ collective Cinesisters. 

Kat's short film HOME stars Maggie Gyllenhaal, is produced by Dana Brunetti and has over a million views on YouTube. She is currently in post production on a proof of concept short film starring Tuppence Middleton and funded by Creative England. Last year Kat took her first steps into directing TV, taking part in a Director’s UK scheme to shadow and direct scenes of CBBC’s So Awkward, and has also directed for BAFTA Rocliffe. Kat has a successful background as a screenwriter, most recently selling an original sci-fi screenplay to Amy Pascal’s Pascal Pictures. She has written for the Fyzz Facility, Electric Shadow Company, Shooting Script Films and Bee Holder, and her first produced feature film ARTHUR & MERLIN was released in the UK and US on DVD/VOD in 2015. 
She is represented by Verve, Zero Gravity Management and Eric Feig Ent & Media Law.
