Biography

Colin started in film as a runner while simultaneously failing as a chef, working as a pot washer and studying painting. Graduating from Chelsea College of Art was the auspicious start to a career spanning high-end corporate films, some shorts, music videos and a handful of movies as 2nd Unit director before making his landmark short I Love Luci. That lauded short film and a few prestigious awards elevated Colin sufficiently to be invited to direct feature films. He attached to two very different projects, one by the brilliant Andrea Gibb and the other by fierce Scottish polemic Ewan Morrison. The latter culminated in Colin's first feature, Swung, starring Elena Anaya, Owen McDonnell and Elizabeth McGovern. Colin is currently casting/financing his second feature Funny Man, Kim Fupz Aackeson's script about a gangster on the criminal slag heap. He is also attached to direct a London set script by Paul Waters. When not directing Colin likes to keep himself busy taking photos, watching movies and cooking, never knowing when he might get another shot at that chef's job.
