Biography

https://www.krwpictures.com/ Kirsty has worked in the film, TV and theatre industries for the past twelve years. After gaining a place at the prestigious National Youth Theatre she began working in theatre, moving into corporate film and then out of 1,500 applicants, became the youngest ever Action Intern at Working Title Films. Since then she has worked in a variety of roles across production and development on feature films and TV, becoming Creative Executive at Shoebox Films and most recently Development Co-ordinator for Hat Trick Productions. In 2013 she completed the script for 'Tea + Cake' which had taken eleven years to reach final draft. Using the small amount of savings she had made over the years, Kirsty directed and produced her feature film for £3,000 with a very small crew and large cast. Due to the no-low budget nature of 'Tea + Cake', post-production took a further three years to complete, in total the project took half her life to complete! Since then it has been screened at many independent festivals worldwide, winning a variety of awards and is due to be released online via Amazon. Last year Kirsty shot three more short films: 'Albert', 'Roomies' and 'Canned'- which is currently in post-production. 'Canned' is a dark comedy starring BAFTA winner Georgina Campbell, Samantha Bond, Sophia Di Martino, Harriet Webb and Paapa Essiedu. She is currently writing future projects and prepping for a documentary.
