Biography

Andy Oxley is a documentary filmmaker based in London. Most recently, he was a shooting Producer / Director on 6 episodes of 'It's Me or the Dog' for Discovery and a 3-part documentary series for Channel 5 (Koska). He also directed a one-hour documentary for Channel 4 (Minnow Films). His short films have screened at festivals all over the world, won several awards, been broadcast on the Bravo and Virgin television channels, and toured cinemas nationwide. His most recent film (Born To Be Mild) screened at South By Southwest (Texas), Hot Docs (Toronto), Melbourne International Film Festival, Sheffield DocFest (UK) and Al Jazeera Documentary Festival (Qatar). It was listed in the Cinema Eye Honors top ten non-fiction films of the year, appeared on BBC Three and is now featured on Amazon Prime.
