Biography

Self shooting producer and director Lee Reading, is first and foremost drawn towards real characters and stories. From engineering to the arts, he has worked across a number of popular documentaries for channels, including BBC2, BBC4, C5, More4, History, HGTV, Discovery, DIY, TLC, and Nat Geo. 

Most recently he directed and produced the BBC2 documentary series THE FIFTEEN BILLION POUND RAILWAY (s2), which became the channel’s highest rated show of the year, pulling in 3.6 million viewers. Lee has also directed and produced the UK special of MY FLOATING HOME (More4), MONSTER MOVES:SPITFIRE (C5/History), HOW DO THEY DO IT? (Discovery), HEROES OF 1966, and a number of music documentaries ranging from THE BEATLES: LIVE to THE CLASH - UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL (vh1).
