Biography
After studying at the London Film School, Azhur’s short films have won a number of awards and played at festivals worldwide. He’s worked in branded content having worked with clients such as Hyundai and Ford Motors and also worked in the video games industry directing motion-capture.
He’s an alumni of a number of talent development programs; Berlinale Talent Campus, BFIs Think Shoot Distribute and B3 Media’s TalentLab for promising BAME talent in the UK film industry.
His writing has earned a number of placements in high-profile screenwriting contests; Finalist 5th ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship, Runner-up ScreenCraft Sci-Fi Screenplay Contest, and Quarter-Finalist Final Draft Big Break Contest.
He is mentored by Colm McCarthy and Alice Troughton.
