Biography
Hazel Chandler is an award winning documentary filmmaker with a Masters in film from the Royal College of Art. She has over 20 years experience working for most major broadcasters – BBC, Channel 4, Discovery and Aljazeera and has filmed in many conflict zones and has her Hostile Environment training. She spends half her time in Sierra Leone where she runs an organisation offering media and music training to street youth, many of whom are ex combatants. As a director she makes feature documentaries, current affairs, documentary series, music clips and as a producer short dramas.
