Damien Goodwin
Biography
As well as directing TV, film and theatre; Damien has built a reputation as a leader in performance capture and voice direction in the video game, VR and interactive industries.
He was cinematic performance director on the ground-breaking LONDON HEIST and THE DEEP for Sony Playstation and SHATTERED STATE for Supermassive Games. He has also directed over 60 games for Side Global and enjoyed acclaim for his work on the award winning AAA titles TOM CLANCY'S THE DIVISION (Ubisoft), DRAGON AGE INQUISITION (winner best game 2014, Bioware).
On the film & TV side, Damien’s shorts BREAKTHROUGH and LIFT have screened at many international festivals including LA and Clermont, and he has directed 50 episodes of HOLLYOAKS for Lime/C4. He also developed the BAFTA nominated series THE AUDIENCE (C4) and was Drama Producer on the second series of THE ONLY WAY IS ESSEX.
Damien’s theatre work includes MY CHEKHOV (BAC, Tristan Bates Theatre and USA tour), THE UNKNOWN (Theatre and Beyond, Komedia Brighton) and THE TIME MACHINE (Creative XR, Make Real & TOMtech).
