Biography

Oliver is an award winning producer/director with a wide range of experience in both documentary and fiction. Recently he has specialised in making observational documentaries for the BBC and Channel 4. Currently he is series directing "Learning for Libya", a 3x 60” series for Rogan Productions. Other recent credits include producing and filming "Welcome To Mayfair" for BBC2’s Modern Times strand, producer/director on the hit BBC1/BBC3 series "The Call Centre", and producer/director of Channel 4’s "Sex, Lies and Parkinson’s." He also has extensive experience producing and directing films for branded content, including "The Intelligent Hand", a feature documentary about high-end craft for Balvenie whiskey, as well as content for clients such as Shell, IKEA, Ubisoft, Bertelsmann Arvato and UBS. In addition, he has directed cinema and TV commercials for Odeon Cinemas, Victim Support and the publishing sector. Oliver’s fiction output includes a number of short films, including writing and directing the award-winning "A Higher Agency", starring Jack Davenport and Sir Antony Sher.
