Nikolaus Morris

I specialise in motion design. I storyboard, illustrate, and animate projects for brands using 2D and 3D techniques. I was previously in-house at Definition Group in Leeds and am now freelance. I've worked with creative agencies such as TCEG and Matobo and in scripted production as a motion designer with Good Gate Media. I’ve led the design and animation aspects of projects for clients including the BBC, Burberry, Barclays, and more. I've also directed live-action content, including writing and directing the anthemic 30s promo 'We See What You're Building' for Sheffield City Region Growth Hub, voiced by Sean Bean.

I am also an independent writer and director. In my own time, I develop IPs such as my indie sci-fi project Further Adventures. In addition, I’ve directed music videos for artists, including Tres B and Tom Hickox, as well as fringe theatre.

My training includes shadowing on ITV Emmerdale, participation in the BFI’s Animation Producer workshop, Creative England’s Digital Bridge scheme, courses in character animation and illustration with School of Motion, and M&C Saatchi’s Open House professional development programme.
