Series Producer / Director and highly experienced crew producer / director on single and multi-camera PSC shoots, as well as extensive self-shooting skills on Canon XF305 and C300’s. (Own XF35 and C300). As an Edit Producer I have worked with both my own and other people’s footage, as well as scripting to produce high quality programming. The projects I have worked on are varied and have given me experience of working with presenters, experts and contributors across a diverse mix of observational documentaries and formatted series. I have experience of drama reconstructions, overseas filming and working with both big institutions like the police and the military, as well as working on difficult or sensitive subject matter including murder scenes, on labour wards and with people suffering serious addiction, trauma or illness. Recently completed the Creative Scotland ‘Factual Stepping Up” programme involving mentorship, training and work shadowing to enable the move from Producer / Director to Series Producing. I am also currently on the Sheffield DocFest ‘Future Producer School’ looking at producing for feature documentaries, international co-production and commissioning opportunities.
