Charlie Targett-Adams

Charlie was brought up within the world of Roxy Music and Latin American musicians, shaping his passion for compelling characters and vivd stories.

After graduating from UCL and attending film school in Mexico City, he launched his career by directing a documentary about the legendary Spanish rock band Heroes del Silencio.

Since then, Charlie has created documentaries, short films, and music videos that have amassed millions of views for artists such as Duran Duran, Roxy Music, Placebo, Stereophonics, Graham Coxon (Blur), The Pierces, Miles Kane, and Bat for Lashes. From there he moved into commercials directing campaigns for Google, Mercedes-Benz, FedEx, National Trust, Vivienne Westwood, and UNICEF.

In long-form, Charlie was the series director for Elite New Face - Season 2, a six-part series broadcast on Hulu. His feature length documentary on the band Placebo was selected for the Sundance Film Festival.

With experience filming in 64 countries and collaborating with talents such as Naomi Campbell, Letitia Wright, Miriam Margolyes, and Jonah Lomu, Charlie has honed a unique ability to capture the essence of his subjects. His work blends authenticity and humanity with a positive charm, bringing out the best in everyone involved.
