Aurora is an award-winning director with a slate of projects in development. She won the Euroscript writing competition for her folk horror feature Speak its Name, which is in development with Neil Chordia at IE Entertainment. She also writes new stories for Doctor Who on BBC radio with Big Finish. In 2023, Aurora became a BROADCAST Hot Shot after directing two episodes of THE BREAK for BBC Studios Drama with BBC Three. She was nominated for a Broadcast Digital award for her episode Rude. Disability-led production company 104 Films produced Aurora's short film Struck, which screened at Sydney, Edinburgh and Cork International Film Festivals. As a passionate disability advocate, Aurora has trained as an Access Coordinator and worked in this role for series 13 of Call the Midwife. Directors UK commissioned her suspenseful short Murmur, written by Simon Cookson. It was released on the BFI Player Disability strand after screening at many festivals, including Reykjavik. After winning The Pitch, Aurora shot an ambitious sci-fi short Pulsar, starring David Gyasi and Jessie Buckley. It has two million+ views on DUST with distribution from Gunpowder & Sky. Aurora has participated in Berlinale Talents, BAFTA Connect, BIFA Springboard, Reykjavik Talent Lab and Filmonomics.
