Danann Breathnach
Biography
A multi-international award winning filmmaker, Danann has a slate of projects in development including ‘Scraps’, a pilot for CBBC Drama and his first feature film ‘Desolate Days’ originally conceived through BFI & Screen Yorkshire’s ‘Triangle' 2014 scheme.
He made the viral hit and Vimeo Staff Pick ‘A Love Story In Milk’ (2 million views) and his RTE commissioned web series ‘Cuckoo’ has had enormous international success this passed year, finding success at the Lovie's, Webby's, IAWTV etc.
Most recently, he completed commercial stings for 'The Graham Norton Show', commercials for MCL Insurance and Barclaycard and a well received, long form, dramatic commercial for children's charity 'Place2Be'.
Clients include CBBC, Starcom MediaVest, Electric Ireland, Barclaycard, Nationwide, Pan McMillan, Adidas, Pampers, Red Bull, EE, Blackberry, VISA, Santander, British Airways, Saatchi & Saatchi, Bourjois, Paddy Power, Sailor Jerry, 3 Mobile, Sunday Times, Friends Of The Earth, Sony, William Hill, ICAD, Place2Be.
Danann is also a self-shooter and editor, with an excellent knowledge and usage of HD cameras, HDSLRs, Final Cut Pro, Magic Bullet Looks, Photoshop & Adobe Lightroom.
