Amy Coop

Amy is an award winning and BAFTA nominated Director working in HETV, Commercials and Short film, with also over 20yrs experience as an Assistant Director and Producer. She directed the closing 5 episodes of Season 1 of the BAFTA nominated and RTS winning teen scifi 'Silverpoint' (BBC/ZDF/HULU), before being asked back as Lead Director for Season 2, completing a further 5 episodes.   She has recently directed 2x60min episodes of the BBC 1 Drama 'Waterloo Road' season 15.
She's also directed 2 episodes of 'Hope Street' for BBC1 NI & Britbox, 15 episodes of 'Hollyoaks' for C4 and 10 episodes of 'Doctors' for BBC1   Her short films 'The Treehouse', 'Annabel Lee', 'Epitaph' and 'A Little Bit Country' played at over 100 international film festivals, garnering more than 50 awards nominations and winning more than 30 awards.

Amy has worked in-house at BT Sport and ITV Advertising as a Producer, and with her production company Angelic Films she Produced and/or Directed over 150 commercials, promos, brand films and corporates for major brands including Universal Music, Nokia, Lenovo, Pedigree, Skype, Redbull, Panasonic, Aussie, Pepe Jeans, and many more.

Amy has a City & Guilds qualification in working with Children in film & TV, an enhanced DBS certificate, Production Safety Passport, First Aid and Safeguarding certificates and a Full Driving Licence. She is a member of DUK, the ADA and BECTU.
