FILMOGRAPHY Superstition. A Psychological Thriller (2001). Starring: Mark Strong, Sienna Guillory, David Warner and Charlotte Rampling. Kenneth Hope's feature film directorial debut was screened for the first time at the Cannes Film Festival 2001. It was announced Second Best internationally sold Dutch feature film of 2001 and nominated for Best Film at the Cherbourg-Octeville Festival of Irish and British Film. Kenneth was nominated Best Director at the 21st ‘Nederlands Film Festival 2001’. He has directed over 70 commercials and short films since 1992, in London, Paris, Amsterdam, New York, LA and Miami. These include the advertising for Global Village, Czech Telecom, IDM Bank, Subaru, the award-winning 'There Are No Borders' Peter Stuyvesant campaign (world-wide stills & commercials), Rabobank, Nescafé, Revlon, L’Oreal, Guerlain, Dutch Government, Interbrew, and Manpower. Between 1990 and 1992 he was guest lecturer in Visual Communication at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague. In 1993 he joined the Directors Film Company of New York as a commercials director. In 1996 he established L’Avventura Film B.V. with Producer Ingrid van Eig to produce and direct commercials. The company's activities are increasingly turning to feature film production. BACKGROUND Kenneth began his career as a fashion photographer for magazines including Vogue, Vogue Homme, Elle, Marie Claire, Avenue, Depeche Mode and The Mail on Sunday. His photographic work has been showcased in high-profile European exhibitions. Permanent collections are held by the Helsinki Museum of Modern Art, and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. He is British. He lives in France with his wife and two dogs.
