Biography
George graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Filmmaking and several award-winning shorts. He went on to direct various ITV and BBC comedy and drama shows, and co-wrote and directed two feature films, including the critically acclaimed THE TRUTH starring Academy Award nominee Elizabeth McGovern. He won Best UK Short at Raindance Film Festival for INFIDEL, the first in a triptych of short films, Sins of London. Most recently he has won multiple awards for another short A BULLET WASTED for Directors UK/ ARRI ‘Challenge Trinity’ award, shot by Oscar-nominated DoP Robbie Ryan, a story told in one 9 minute uninterrupted take. George is hugely experienced working in content, brand and corporate, either as a director or as writer/director. He has won over 30 major international prizes: numerous IVCA/EVCOM Awards, including a Gold and a Silver for Best Director, and a Silver for Best Script; and multiple New York Festivals Awards, including a Gold for Best Director in 2015; and a Black Dolphin at Cannes.
