I am a passionate story-teller with 20 years experience making observational documentaries, presenter-led and investigative current affairs films for TV broadcast. I love getting under the skin of a subject, quick to establish rapport with contributors, drawing stories out and telling them in visually compelling and imaginative ways. Many of my programmes have involved negotiating and sustaining difficult access, as well as dealing with sensitive issues. All my P/D experience has involved developing, directing, editing and taking the project through to final delivery. I am currently developing Just A Girl From Koof with Redbird Media, about the life and work of women’s rights activist Fawzia Koofi, who was due to run for President of Afghanistan this April.
