Chris Williams

I have been directing television for the last 25 years, working across a diverse range of shows. I have produced and directed primetime docs for BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky Atlantic. As a Series Producer/Director I’m the architect of Channel 5’s hit factual entertainment series The Hotel Inspector and a number of travelogues such as The Greek Islands with Julia Bradbury for ITV1, and Alex Polizzi’s Secret Italy, Italian Islands and Spectacular Spain for Channel 5. I’ve filmed extensively abroad and I have a wealth of experience directing talent and getting the best out of contributors. With well over 100 hours of primetime credits, I bring experience, invention, and warm engaging storytelling along with a strong cinematic visual style. Most importantly I bring passion and a love for my job. A strong self-shooter, I film on a range of cameras including the Sony Fs9. I’m also an edit producer and writer and have years of experience editing on Avid.
