Paul Wheeler

Paul is perhaps best known as Director of BAFTA-winning 'Have I Got News for You' since 1995 and 'Live At the Apollo' since it began. He has also worked in Los Angeles on Whose Line is it Anyway in 1998 and in New York. He has Directed top british TV comedy and entertainment shows for Avalon TV, Liberty Bell, Open Mike, SO TV, Hat trick, Channel X and many other production companies, as well as maintaining contact with other genres of TV. (Childrens and Sport). His shows have achieved multiple BAFTA , Comedy Award nominations and other accolades. He is also an accomplished singer-guitarist-songwriter, and is creator and host of a music tribute show 'Fire and Rain & American Pie' featuring the classic songs of James Taylor, Carole King, Simon & Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell, Don Mclean and others. He has performed at Festivals, Concerts and gigs all over UK and can bring this skill to good use as a music Director or music video Director
