Biography
Richard Slater-Jones is a director, writer and showrunner, primarily making documentaries and series for the US market and beyond. From NatGeo to YouTube, the BBC to Netflix, the primetime content he has crafted has reached hundreds of millions of households across the planet. He has an Emmy nomination, multiple awards and official selections at film festivals globally.

Although his childhood dream was to be a wildlife filmmaker, he has a curiosity for what lies beneath the surface of our own global society, and is increasingly looking to the dark side of human nature for his subjects. Recently, Richard is also exploring the world of fiction in his story-telling.

Richard lives in Rome, Italy and Cape Town, South Africa. He spends time in the edit suites of D.C., New York, Bristol and London, when not filming in remote locations.
