20 years experience directing documentary, current affairs and Factual Entertainment TV for BBC, C4, ITV and C5. I also have directed shorts - an RTS winner - and some corporate work for leading brands BP, The Body Shop, P&O ferries. 

I love the way in documentary you do not know what will happen in front of you and you get to the most extraordinary places and have privileged access to people and situations. I am very visual, good at working with talent, filming overseas, in difficult sensitive areas and tricky subjects. Gaining contributor trust and getting performances is a key strength. I understand compliance, legals and with my executive producer experience am used to overseeing budgets and delivering under pressure. I can self shoot when required, but love working with crews. I love the edit.
