Robert McCourt

I’m a creative Series Producer / Director with experience in devising new formats and setting the style and editorial tone of programmes. I’ve been in Television for 13 years starting out in comedy and current affairs working on the Mark Thomas Product and Channel 4 Dispatches. I’ve also worked on the launch of a global news network – Al-Jazeera English. More recently I’ve been working as a commissioning exec at UKTV working across factual and features. I’ve got a strong sense of narrative and story telling and have worked in all aspects of production from casting to delivery. I know how to maximise production schedules and budgets and have also worked with a lot of new and established on screen talent.
