Nigel Levy

Nigel has been innovating in the premium doc arena - winning awards and audiences for a number of years.  He was the series Editor on Formula One: Drive to Survive, Netflix’s highest-profile, unscripted series of the year. This follows his successes as series producer, writer and director of documentaries, feature docs and high-end drama-docs for all the U.K. channels and multiple global broadcasters. His films have gone on to win many awards and nominations, including Emmy and RTS. 

At the same time, Nigel has forged a career in drama, directing Hollywood star talent in the feature Mothers & Daughters (starring Sharon Stone, Christina Ricci, Mia Sorvino, Courtney Cox, amongst others). Recently he collaborated with Oscar-nominated DoP John Mathieson (Gladiator, Logan, X-Men) on a feature documentary, as well as having numerous drama projects in development.

He is known for possessing great technical and narrative skills creating productions with spectacular visuals combined with intimate, emotional storytelling. His expertise is regularly sought out by Oscar and BAFTA-winning production companies as a script doctor on factual singles and series as well as feature documentaries. Clients include the BBC, Channel 4, Netflix, Discovery, National Geographic, Sky and many others.
