I am a fiercely ambitious, award-winning Producer/Director experienced in delivering landmark films for clients such as the BBC and Discovery. I also retain my love for crafting emotionally engaging observational documentaries. Having worked with the best in presenting talent, most recently including Richard Hammond and Iain Stewart, I relish creating cinematic moments using everything from 250-foot tracking dollies and air-to-air Cineflex units to the latest super-slow-motion cameras. With a background in science, I am always on the lookout for new technology that can enrich the story by pushing visual boundaries. Besides directing in often-challenging countries, I also have an in-depth knowledge of high-end, big-scale CGI from storyboard, through the pipeline, to final CG delivery. I also bring the additional skill of being an accomplished self-shooting director with 10 years of experience. With a passion for mountaineering, rock-climbing and fitness, I also have Hostile Environment and Sea Survival training.
