Max Jourdan

Max is a creative and versatile film director, writer and producer with documentary and drama experience. He has made films all over the world in a variety of genres and shoots most of his own work. Credits with: BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Channel 5, National Geographic, History Channel, Discovery, Al Jazeera, ARTE. A graduate from the Royal College of Art, Max began his career as photographer. His interest in challenging stories and ability to immerse himself in the lives of often difficult characters drew him to observational documentary film making; from prison chain gangs and mercenaries to crossing the Pacific Ocean on a boat made from recycled plastic bottles... Driven by a passion for story-telling, Max has recently turned his attention to writing and directing drama. He has made a mini-feature and a short and is currently developing two feature film projects.
