Biography
I made my multicamera directing debut with a BBC Proms world premiere in 2022 and in subsequent years have been invited to direct some of the most popular artists & repertoire in the Proms calendar.
I also have 20+ years experience as a TV live events producer; PD; single camera director and self-shooter.
I've worked on a huge breadth of output: weekly magazine shows; arts documentaries; unscripted programmes; in the Middle East with International crews; in the US with scientists from NASA and Native Americans; with children and animals (simultaneously!); with war veterans; on awards shows; advertising campaigns; in Buckingham Palace; and I've even filmed a sword fight in the Royal Albert Hall!
I love an OB truck, and am very calm under pressure. It’s a personal mission of mine to go beyond basic capture, and to translate the experience and excitement of both watching and performing at a live event to a television audience. I love working as part of a team and can frequently be found chatting with lighting designers or producers about their visions and how we can work together to make something good, amazing.
Outside the OB truck, I'm also used to working with multiple high-calibre stakeholders; A-D list celebrities; huge production teams and with logistical challenges.
I can work quickly and push for the best, but also know what's realistic and achievable.
I live outside the M25 and I'm very happy to travel.
